Engaged as Project Managers for procurement / administration of contract + provision and management of Full Design Team Services. The building project coincided with the construction of an 18 hole Championship Golf Course designedby 1995 British Open winner John Daly. The Blarney Golf Resort development incorporated the construction of a 100 Bed Hotel, Golf Club House,56 individual Holiday Cottages, funded by a tax incentive investment model, all completed within a demanding 12 month schedule. The site is located in a remote rural setting without availability of public utilities and infrastructure. This required a self-contained and environmentally sustainable design solution incorporating a large soak-away for disposal of on site storm water and on-site waste treatment of foul sewage utilizing state of the art ‘reed bed’ specialist technology.
